Join Hereford Cathedral on Friday 7 August for a spectacular Summer Garden Party, where guests can dance the night away with popular local band The Hey Yahs.

 

The Hey Yahs are a fun and lively live band, delivering top-class entertainment guaranteed to get everyone into the summer party spirit. Made up of professional touring and session musicians, the band features outstanding male and female lead and harmony vocals, a fantastic horn section, and a floor-filling rhythm section. Guests can expect an evening of classic and contemporary feel-good music, from soul, disco and Motown favourites to modern pop hits.

 

The concert will take place in the cathedral’s beautiful Chapter House Garden, next to the Hereford Cathedral Café, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable summer evening of live music. The café will be open throughout the event, serving alcoholic and soft drinks, charcuterie boxes, ice creams and sweet treats. Guests can also pre-order food and drinks when booking their tickets.
For those looking to make the evening extra special, a VIP Ticket Package is available for £160, including six tickets, a reserved picnic table and a bottle of Prosecco. The VIP package is available exclusively by calling the Ticket Desk. Please note that availability is limited and the package is suitable for groups of up to six people.

Summer Garden Party with The Hey Yahs takes place from 7 pm to 9.30 pm on Friday 7 August 2026, with doors opening at 6.15 pm. Tickets are £20 and are available online via the cathedral website or by calling the Ticket Desk on 01432 374202. Please note that this event is for over-18s only.
