Cathedral tours Explore the rich history and treasures of the cathedral from its Saxon origins to the present day with our expert guides. Tours run on Mondays and Wednesday to Saturday at 11.05 am, 12.15 pm and 2.15 pm and last approximately 45 minutes. On Tuesdays during the summer only one tour takes place, at 2.15 pm, due to morning practice for our lunchtime organ recitals. Please note that there is no 2.15 pm tour on Tuesday 17 July. Please be aware that we are not able to offer Cathedral Tours from 23 July to 8 August due to the Three Choirs Festival taking place in the cathedral. Please meet at the Welcome Desk. Tickets are available from the shop and cost £5 per person. Tours for groups of 10 or more can be arranged at other times to suit. Please contact the Visits Office for further details on 01432 374202 or [email protected] If you are interested in joining one of the cathedral tours it is very important you make contact with the Visits Office first to ensure that tours are taking place that day. Sometimes, even at very short notice, tours have to be cancelled owing to other events taking place in the cathedral. Hereford Cathedral is fully covered by CCTV for the safety and security of our visitors, volunteers and staff.
