Cathedral Tours

Explore the rich history and treasures of the cathedral from its Saxon origins to the present day with our knowledgeable guides. Set off on a journey in and around it to enjoy architecture, artefacts and anecdotes and learn how it has developed through time to the church that you see on your visit.

Tours run Monday to Saturday at 11.05 am and 2.15 pm and last approximately 45 minutes. Tours will also run at 12.30 pm on selected dates. Tickets cost £7.50 (Adult), £6 (Student) and £2 (Child aged 8 - 16). 

Tickets are also available to purchase from the cathedral’s Ticket Desk. The Ticket Desk is located just inside the main North entrance point and is open Monday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm. For enquiries, please email [email protected] or call 01432 374 202

Hereford Cathedral is fully covered by CCTV for the safety and security of our visitors, volunteers and staff. 

*If you are interested in joining one of our tours it is very important you make contact with the Visits Office first to ensure that tours are taking place that day. Sometimes, even at very short notice, tours have to be cancelled owing to other events taking place in the cathedral.or around the site.
