In September it was announced that Canon Geraint Bowen would be retiring from Hereford Cathedral after nearly 25 years as Director of Music - read the full announcement here

We are now able to share the details of Geraint’s final services and invite our community to join us as we wish him and Lucy a fond farewell:

Geraint’s final Eucharist will be on Sunday 8 February at 10 am and will be followed by formal presentations and fizz in the nave. All are welcome to join us but if you don’t normally attend the Sunday service please can you email [email protected] so that we can cater accordingly? Please note there will be no Matins this day.

Geraint’s final Evensong will take place on Tuesday 10 February at 5.30 pm.

We are also delighted that we will be joined by former choristers at Evensong on Saturday 10 January at 5.30 pm as they say goodbye to Geraint.
