The Eastern Cloisters Project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, at Hereford Cathedral, is seeking an external partner to provide historical interpretation for the Old Chapel.

We are looking for a partner to create a short video, sharing the history of the Cloisters. This video will be projected onto the walls of the Old Chapel, using projectors that have already been installed in the room, in order to create an immersive experience for visitors. A key part of the Eastern Cloisters Project is renovating the Old Chapel, to allow it to be used as a multi-purpose space for events, activities, and meetings.

Thanks to extensive research, conducted as part of the Eastern Cloisters Project, we already have a clear idea of events and figures from our history that we would like to focus on. Renovation work in other parts of the Cloisters has also revealed fascinating finds and layers of wallpaper, adding to our already considerable archive of images and resources to be used in the video.

This in an opportunity to bring together heritage and creativity, to tell the stories of the Cloisters of Hereford Cathedral.
