3. Escape Room Experience

The story which the Escape Room plot is based around is inspired by real events and real Vicars Choral who lived in the Cloisters. This interactive clue-cracking and decoding adventure is set in the historic Old Chapel in the Cloisters of Hereford Cathedral. Suitable for groups of up to six, it’s a fun challenge that lasts for an hour and is perfect for families, friends or colleagues. Each session costs £60 and you can book here on selected days throughout the year. It’s a memorable experience that combines history and mystery!

4. La Nativité Organ Concert

For music enthusiasts, tickets to a live performance of Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur would be a special treat. Performed by Peter Dyke, assistant director of music at Hereford Cathedral, this organ masterpiece is composed of nine meditations inspired by the birth and life of Christ. The concert takes place on Saturday 1 February 2025 at 7 pm. Tickets are just £5 and can be purchased via here or the Cathedral Shop. It’s a beautiful way to share the gift of music and reflection.
