Medieval Hereford Festival

We are excited to welcome you to Hereford Cathedral’s first Medieval Festival, in collaboration with the Hereford City BID.

On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August 2026, the cathedral and close will be transported back in time in a celebration of Medieval entertainment, craft, and history. All ages are welcome to come and join in the fun, with demonstrations and activities led by professional re-enactors. Alongside archery, squire training, music, dancing, and historical displays, there will be themed food and craft stalls selling local items. 

Entry to the cathedral and close on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August will be free, with some paid ticketed events - more details will be announced soon!
