Summer at Hereford Cathedral

There is so much to discover here at Hereford Cathedral this summer. Our beautiful Cathedral offers visitors a wealth of history from stunning stained glass to sweeping architecture. Discover our stunning side chapels, Tudor Audley screen and take a tour of our tower or gardens. 

The Cathedral is proud to host two record breaking attractions in the Mappa Mundi the worlds oldest surviving map, and the Chained Library - the largest of its kind. Alongside this sits our exhibition, which is currently hosting Cathedral City County, an exhibition of historic items showcasing the links between the cathedral and its surroundings. 

Be sure to stop by the Cathedral Cafe or our Cafe on the Close, serving delicious savoury and sweet treats and drinks. 

The highlight of the summer is our special event - CATHEDRAL ON THE CLOSE
