Former Canon Chancellor Thanked in Portrait Unveiling
It was wonderful to invite back recently retired Canon Chancellor Chris Pullin, for the unveiling of a portrait painted by artist Susan Edwards.
The Portrait was unveiled by Catherine, wife to Chris, and in attendance was Tamsin Clive, chair of the Mappa Mundi Trust (who commissioned the portrait) together with The Very Revd Sarah Brown and Library and Cathedral staff.
Susan worked in oils on the portrait and spoke about the importance of capturing Chris' "friendly and approachable nature and his ability to connect with people".
The Portrait will be hung in the Cathedral Library, close to portraits of other former Masters of the Library, Canons Streeter and Tiller.
