Jonathon
is from Herefordshire and began studying the organ with Peter Dyke, supported by Marden Church, under the auspices of the Diocese of Hereford Organists’ Training Scheme. After a year as organ scholar at St. Laurence’s Parish Church in Ludlow, he then studied Music at the University of Huddersfield, graduating in 2012. Whilst in Yorkshire Jonathon also held the organ scholarship at Leeds Cathedral for three successive years. 

In 2014 he took up his current position as abbey organist at Belmont Abbey, just outside Hereford, where he accompanies the monastic offices and masses.

Jonathon also works as a freelance organist, piano and organ teacher, and as organist at Moor Park School.
