Visitors to the Cathedral Close are in for a treat this summer as the Café on the Close is now open for business!

Throughout the summer months the Cathedral Café will have an additional serving point located next to the Stonemason’s Yard in the Cathedral Close. The horsebox will be serving a range of drinks, cakes, pastries and savoury snacks, including flatbread wraps and mezze boxes, to take away.

Kirsty Price, Commercial Manager at Hereford Cathedral, said: “We are very pleased to be able to open Café on the Close alongside the Cathedral Café this month. The Cathedral Close is such a lovely place to be on a summer day so we have created a range of menu options for those stopping to enjoy the sunshine or passing through on their lunch break to grab and go.

Our food menu will be evolving throughout the summer but there will always be a selection of tasty sweet and savoury treats to enjoy. We are also serving iced coffee and a range of speciality coffees so make sure to pick up a loyalty card if you’re going to be visiting us regularly!”

Café on the Close will be open Monday – Saturday, during the daytimes throughout the summer. A sample menu is available below – items may change due to availability.
