Everyone is warmly invited to join us in College Hall at Hereford Cathedral on Tuesday 17 January at 7 pm for a talk by The Revd Dr Charlie Bell, an Academic Clinical Fellow in Psychiatry at King’s College, London; a Fellow of Girton College, Cambridge; an Assistant Curate of St John the Divine, Kennington; and the author of a recently published book entitled Queer Holiness – the Gift of LGBTQI People to the Church which covers psychology, sexuality and theology.

Dr Bell writes: ‘LGBTQI people’s lives have often been the subject of abstract discussion in the church, but far too little time has been spent seeing the Spirit of God in queer lives and loves. It’s time to embrace the life-giving flourishing and holy dignity that sits at the heart of queer experience and identity. Where are the fruits of this holiness, and what might the church learn from its queer disciples?’

This talk is free to attend but please book your space in advance below.
