It is very difficult to reach back over time to understand the medieval mind. Few people could read or write, so how did they use their parish church when church services were conducted in Latin? In this talk, Rev’d. Will Pridie uses the graffiti left on church buildings and the carvings that have survived to try and understand what the everyday person in medieval times were thinking and doing.
