What do we know about 'life and learning' in these parts in the Middle Ages? This illustrated talk will paint some pictures of education before, during and and beyond formal schooling in medieval Hereford.

David Thomson joined the Diocese of Hereford as an Honorary Assistant Bishop after retiring from his post as Bishop of Huntingdon. He is also a respected medievalist with particular interests in education and Robert Grosseteste.
