Friday 3, 10, 17 & 24 March, 10.30am – 12noon

The Revd Canon Dr Maureen Palmer presents a series of lectures this Lent in the Old Chapel. Each lecture will end with a fifteen minute meditation. Attendees are asked to bring a Bible with them, if possible, the NRSV translation

Friday 3rd March: What is a Gospel? The Synoptic Gospels - dating/authorships/themes

Friday 10th March: Miracles and the Kingdom of God

Friday 17th March: Titles for Jesus. Why the secrecy?

Friday 24th March: The Passion according to Mark/Matthew.
