‘The wheat was silver’, a lecture by Richard Willmott

Everyone is welcome to join the Traherne Association for the Jeremy Maule Lecture on Tuesday 10 October, 3.30pm in College Hall. Richard Willmott, Chairman of the Traherne Association and author of a recent study of Traherne’s poetry, The Voluble Soul, will be comparing the work of some modern poets with Traherne’s writings.

Following the lecture, tea will be served in College Hall before Choral Evensong sung (5.30pm) by the Cathedral Choir.
