Friends lecture in College Hall, 7pm

Colin Howard DSc PhD FRCPath FSB, Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham, has kindly agreed to address the Friends. His topic will be, ‘The rise of the anti -vaccination movement of Victorian England and its impact today’. Vaccine development has been a central interest throughout his academic career, one which inevitably leads him into trying to understand the anti-vaccination lobby, with strong undertones of religious as well as libertarian convictions.
