Lent Course: Caring for Creation

The cathedral recently received A Rocha UK Eco Church scheme’s 1,000th award for creation care. In Lent we will build on that success by offering ‘Caring for Creation,’ a five-week York Course.  Although intended for a physically gathered group discussion, the course is also designed to work online – which will have to be our way of engaging with it this year.

A review in the Church Times (January 2021) has described it as “an informative course… Caring for Creation digs deeper into issues, and is particularly good at calling out misplaced Christian attitudes”.

Interested?

Visit www.yorkcourses.co.uk/product/caring-for-creation to find out more about the course and see the materials that are available. We hope this will whet your appetite.

What next?

If you would like to share in the course with the cathedral, please register for inclusion with Canon Chris Pullin: [email protected] - if you have any queries please contact him.

Go to the York Course website and order the course booklet for delivery to your home, or in digital format for delivery to your e-reader, tablet or computer.

We will begin running the course during the week beginning February 21st. Those who have registered an interest will be contacted well in advance and offered a range of possible days and times for online discussion groups.
