Hereford Cathedral wishes to appoint a Visits and Development Manager to support its ministry and mission.

This is a new position for a well-organised individual with the creative experience to initiate comprehensive new proposals for a variety of innovative projects to dovetail with the existing programme of visits, commercial events and other income-generating cathedral activities.

Working closely with the Chief Executive and his team, this is a wide-ranging role with specific responsibility, at the outset, for administering and managing organised visits together with cathedral tours and planned events. With an interest in Hereford Cathedral, the successful candidate will have an awareness of marketing and an enthusiastic and focused approach, making a positive contribution to cathedral life through the identification and development of new income opportunities.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £23,000 per annum, 20 days’ annual leave (plus public holidays) and entry into our non-contributory pension scheme after three months.
