On Saturday 15 December, Hereford Cathedral will welcome over forty stall holders as part of our annual Christmas Fair.

The Christmas Fair, which is becoming a firm favourite within the cathedral’s calendar, features a variety of charity stalls, homemade produce and local crafts. Produce will include fudge, soap, textiles, plants and many more gift ideas.

One of the highlights of the day is the Carols for Shoppers Service which takes place at 1 pm. The carols are performed by two local choirs, Herefordshire Junior Youth Choir and Hereford Church Singers who, this year, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Everyone is welcome to attend this service which is full of festive joy.

Glyn Morgan, Chapter Clerk, said: “The Christmas Fair is a really fun and vibrant day which fills the cathedral full of Christmas spirit. It’s wonderful to welcome so many visitors to the cathedral and would encourage everyone to join us to listen to the Hereford Church Singers and Herefordshire Junior Youth Choir at 1 pm.”

Hereford Cathedral Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 15 December from 9.30 am – 4pm. Entry is free and the Cathedral Café, Shop and Mappa Mundi & Chained Library Exhibition will be open from 10 am – 4 pm.
