Hereford Cathedral is hosting a free Photography Pilgrimage Workshop, delivered by Jon Legge.

On Friday 25th May, a small group of visitors will take part in this one-off workshop in our Cathedral Cloisters; the Cloisters are not normally open to the public, so this is a very special opportunity to not only visit the Cloisters but also be able to photograph them.

The workshop will look at various photography techniques, but will also include time to reflect and focus on your own photography work.

What do I need to bring? You do need to bring a digital camera with you, but you don't need special equipment or fancy cameras to take part - in fact, if all you have is a camera on your smart phone, that's fine! We also have a small number of basic digital cameras that participants can borrow if needed.

Timings: Registration is from 10am, ready for a 10:30am start. The workshop will be finished by 1pm.

Cost: The workshop is free, but places must be booked in advance. There are only a small number of places, so we anticipate that they will run out quickly - don't miss out!

Note: this workshop is free as it is a test event - all participants will be expected to fill out a short evaluation form.
