Join us for a light-hearted glimpse into the ups and downs of the vicars choral from the Middle Ages to their final meeting in 1937. The guided tours take visitors into College Cloisters, St John’s Walk and College Hall. Along the way visitors can meet characters including James Reed, a seventeenth-century vicar choral, Nelly Pearce, a college laundry maid and Bishop Richard Mayew, who died in 1516 and is buried at the cathedral.

Tickets cost £5, to include a glass of local beer or apple juice, and are available from the Cathedral Shop. Due to the popularity of this event in previous years we would recommend booking in advance by contacting 01432 374210.
