Wands at the ready…

Wizards, witches and muggles of all ages are invited to join us at the Chained Library on Thursday 24 June and celebrate Harry Potter Book Night, a night simultaneously hosted in libraries, schools and venues across the globe and coordinated by Bloomsbury Publishers Co.

The theme of seventh annual Harry Potter Book Night is ‘Diagon Alley’! All Potter fanatics are welcome for an evening of spellbinding story-telling, activities and photo opportunities as we re-create the magic of Diagon Alley in the Chained Library.

Dress code: all things magical!

The event begins at 6pm and will finish at 8.30pm with staggered entry slots every 30mins. We recommend that it takes around 45 minutes to enjoy this event.

This event is free but booking is essential as numbers are limited due to venue capacity and as a precautionary measure for any remaining COVID-19 restrictions. To book your timed entry slot please proceed below.

You will receive a confirmation email after your booking which will act as your ticket. Please bring this with you on the day, either printed or on your phone. Please ensure that you book for the correct time slot as we will not be able to change this once your ticket has been booked.
