Internationally celebrated artist Yinka Shonibare MBE (RA) will give a talk in the nave of Hereford Cathedral on Thursday 24 January. Launching his new artwork, Creatures of the Mappa Mundi, Shonibare will be interviewed by broadcaster and writer Francine Stock about his inspiration for this new commission for Meadow Arts and Hereford Cathedral, inspired by the ‘strange creatures and alien races’ of the famous Medieval world map and made with diverse groups of Herefordshire people.
