The Fron Male Voice Choir is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a cathedral concert tour. The choir has a proud history; it was formed in 1947 to compete in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, and has had success in competitions throughout the UK and Europe. It is, however, probably better known for its series of five CDs under the theme of ‘Voices of the Valley’. Its CDs have been awarded gold and platinum discs, and are sold in over 80 countries and tracks appear on 94 compilation CDs worldwide.

This internationally-acclaimed choir is appearing with supporting artist mezzo-soprano Kathryn Rudge, a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist.

The choir is appearing at Hereford Cathedral on Saturday 24 June at 7.30 pm
