Jess Stallwood has been working as Research Intern on the Heritage Lottery funded Eastern Cloisters Project this Spring and Summer.

She has been working closely with a group of volunteers to research further into the history of the College Cloisters and the lives of those who lived there over the years. In this presentation she will be talking about the life of a researcher and what it involves, including the pitfalls and highlights. She will be sharing her favourite finds uncovered by the team whilst trawling through the documentary and physical evidence left behind in the cloisters and the archives.

Jess is an art historian who has worked and studied at several cultural institutions including the National Portrait Gallery and the Courtauld Institute in London. She is due to complete her six month research post at Hereford Cathedral at the end of September. Tickets cost £8 and booking is essential via the Cathedral Library by calling 01432 374 225/6 or emailing [email protected]
