Part of the Life & Learning Programme at Hereford Cathedral.

Hereford diocese has been linked with the Lutheran Kirchenkreis of Nuremberg for many years.

There are deanery links, school links and choir links, which include regular visits by the Cathedral Voluntary Choir. A number of Lutheran clergy have spent periods of 2 years or more working in a parish here. Most recently Pastor Brigitte Malik was part of the Ludlow team. She has now returned to Germany but is one of the Cathedral’s Ecumenical Companions. Our clergy also have spent short periods working there, most recently the Revd. Judy Dinnen in Hilpoltstein. Some curates and readers visit as part of their training and school classes send and receive emails. This is a thriving link and there is much to tell. The telling will be made all the more enjoyable by the accompaniment of German beer and sausages.

This talk costs £12 (includes food and drink) and booking is essential via the Cathedral Library on 01432 374 225/6 or by emailing [email protected]
