Dr Rachel Johnson kindly offers a lecture entitled ‘Mutuality in Wonderland: the friendship between George MacDonald and Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll), adopted member of the MacDonald Family’.

Charles Dodgson had a close and long-standing friendship with the family of George MacDonald. He was absorbed into the MacDonald family as 'Uncle Dodgson', with the result that the cross-fertilization of ideas and experiences affected and influenced the writings of both authors.
