The Willis Organ

The organ was first placed in this position as part of Scott's restoration in the 1860s. It was rebuilt by Henry Willis in 1879 and subsequently restored and extended several times, most recently in the 1970s with the aid of a gift from the Hereford cider makers H P Bulmer, commemorated by the figure of a woodpecker on the front of the case.

The organ is played from a loft on the opposite side of the choir.
