Explore the treasures and history of Hereford Cathedral from Saxon times to the present day with our experienced volunteer guides.
Cathedral Tours
From January 2012 until the end of March tours will run at 11.15am every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
During the February half term tours will run on Monday 13th through to Saturday 18th at 11.15am and 2.15pm.
Summer Cathedral Tours
From April there will be daily tours at 11.15am and 2.15pm (Monday – Saturday) until the end of October.

Garden Tours
The garden tours take place at 2.30 pm, Saturdays and Wednesdays between June and September.
Led by volunteer guides and gardeners at Hereford Cathedral the ‘Secret Gardens’ tour explores the natural world from medieval times to the present day with behind the scenes access to gardens not normally open to the public, including the award-winning Chapter House Garden and the Dean’s garden.

CATHEDRAL TOWER TOURS
Special winter tours are planned for Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd December. Followed by Wednesday 28th,Thursday 29th and Friday 30th.
Climb the 218 steps to survey some of the finest views of the City and County from the central Tower of Hereford Cathedral.
Tours also include the Lantern Gallery, looking down into the Cathedral, and the Ringing Chamber.
As a special treat for our winter tours you can enjoy a cup of warming soup as you look over the city and surrounding countryside.
Certificates are issued to all who manage the climb to the top! Tower Tours may not be suitable
for all visitors; please check if you have any particular access concerns

From 31st July 2012 the tower will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and the first Saturday of each month throughout the Summer.
