Cathedral Tours
Explore the treasures and history of Hereford Cathedral from Saxon times to the present day with our experienced volunteer guides at 11.15am and 2.15pm (Monday – Saturday) throughout the summer months.

The cathedral hosts a large number of services and events. Some of these may have an impact on our ability to run daily cathedral tours.
You are advised to check that a specific daily tour is running,
if you intend to make a special visit.

Evening Tours
A chance to explore the Cathedral with one of our experienced
Guides in the quiet of the evening, with light refreshments provided
at the end of the tour. 6.30pm every Wednesday from 14th July until
the end of September. £7.50 adults £5 children.

Garden Tours
Led by volunteer guides and gardeners at Hereford Cathedral the ‘Secret Gardens’ tour explores the natural world from medieval times to the present day with behind the scenes access to gardens not normally open to the public, including the award-winning Chapter House Garden and the Dean’s garden (opening times).

Cathedral 
Tower Tours
Climb the 218 steps to survey some of the finest view of the City and County from the central Tower of Hereford Cathedral. Tours also include the Lantern Gallery and Ringing Chamber. Tower Tours may not be suitable for all visitors; please check if you have any particular access concerns with the Visits Office visits@herefordcathedral.org
