Cathedral Tours
Explore the treasures and history of Hereford Cathedral from Saxon times to the present day
with our experienced volunteer guides.
Tours are planned to run at 11.05 am and 2.05 pm daily Monday - Saturday, they cost £4 and tickets are available from the Cathedral Shop.
The cathedral hosts a large number of services and events. Some of these may have an impact on our ability to run daily cathedral tours.
You are advised to check that a specific daily tour is running, if you intend to make a special visit.

Garden Tours
Led by volunteer guides and gardeners at Hereford Cathedral the ‘Secret Gardens’ tour explores the natural world from medieval times to the present day with behind the scenes access to gardens not normally open to the public, including the award-winning Chapter House Garden and the Dean’s garden.
The tours for 2013 begin on Saturday 8 June.
Garden tours are subject to dry weather and cathedral events, if you are planning a special visit you are advised to check that the tour you require will be running. Please contact the Visits Office.

CATHEDRAL TOWER TOURS
There are no tower tours on Saturday 4 May due to a special service taking place in the cathedral
Climb the 218 steps to survey some of the finest views of the city and county beyond. This informative and fun tour also takes in the Lantern Gallery and Ringing Chamber.
Tours will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from April through to October 2013. To book tickets please call the Cathedral Shop on 01432 374210
Certificates are issued to all who manage the climb to the top! Tower Tours may not be suitable for all visitors; please check if you have any particular access concerns
