HEREFORD CHORAL SOCIETY Hereford Choral Society promotes a season of three concerts at the cathedral each year, one of which is usually a Christmas performance of Handel's Messiah. The society was founded in 1837 and is one of the oldest of its kind in Britain. Its conductor is Geraint Bowen.
