Hereford Choral Society
Hereford Choral Society promotes a season of three concerts at the cathedral each year, one of which is usually a Christmas performance of Handel's Messiah. The society was founded in 1837 and is one of the oldest of its kind in Britain. Its conductor is Geraint Bowen.

Verdi - Requiem
This gala concert marks the start of the celebrations for the 175th anniversary of the choral society and features the Philharmonia Orchestra.
