The Hereford Cathedral Sunday School is a busy and fun place for the children to come to during the Cathedral Eucharist

We gather in our Sunday school room in the college cloister every Sunday at 10am.

On the first Sunday of the month we join the congregation for the first part of the service; going to the Sunday School room after the Gospel.

Children of all ages up to 11 years are very welcome to join us.

We begin our session with a short service that the children lead, which mirrors the service that is taking place in the cathedral.

We then divide into two groups, Seedlings for children up to seven years of age and Climbers for those aged 7 to 11 years.

We also provide a crèche for those younger members!

We return to the Cathedral for the Communion and hand the children back to parents,

Each year we lead the main Cathedral Eucharist on Mothering Sunday and Harvest festival. Also, on Christmas Eve, the whole Sunday school perform a Nativity play. This is very popular with families attending and enjoying the carols and the telling of the Christmas story.

Our team of teachers are always very happy to welcome new members to the classes and to the teaching team.
