We can include a range of additional cross-curricular learning opportunities such as mathematics, history, English, art, etc, or a specific programme can be designed for your own particular requirements.

Other popular on-site visit resources include the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition, the Cathedral Library, the Cathedral Tower, Brass Rubbing and the gardens of Hereford Cathedral. For younger children we have a range of animal, dragons and beasts trails.

The Pilgrimage Project (KS2)
A newly-designed Key Stage 2 project offers children the chance to experience the life of a medieval pilgrim visiting the Shrine of Thomas Cantilupe. The three-hour programme includes discussions, workshop activities, role-play and a procession to the shrine, concluding with prayer and meditation. This programme includes pre- and post-visit classroom work. Please contact the Education Officer for more details.

Further and Higher Education
Many learning opportunities exist for students in Further and Higher Education, particularly the vocational aspects of Tourism and Leisure, Conservation, Heritage Studies, Environmental impacts, Medieval History and Theology. To discuss your particular requirements, please contact the Education Officer.
