This book provides an introduction to the redesigned Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition along with a section on rare items from the cathedral archives, including the cathedral’s very fine 1217 Magna Carta. The book is packed with a number of beautiful new photographs reflecting the atmospheric exhibition space which houses the collection.

Priced at just £4.50 the book is set to become a popular choice for a Christmas gift as well as the essential companion to any visit.

Copies can be purchased from the cathedral shop which also is now stocking a range of seasonal products, cards and Christmas gifts and is open between 10am and 4pm weekdays and Saturday.

The Mappa Mundi exhibition itself is still open over the winter months, everyday Monday to Saturday, from 10am with the last admission at 4.30pm until the end of this month when it changes to 3.30pm.
