The Mappa Mundi & Chained Library has now reopend following the closed period for cleaning and conservation work.

The new temporary exhibition Brewster's Books, shows interesting volumes in the All Saints’ Chained Library, also to be found in the exhibition.  The books were collected by Dr William Brewster and bequeathed to All Saints’ Church in the eighteenth-century.  Exhibits include an early printed Welsh Bible, a seventeenth-century illustrated book on Lapland, and an interesting book giving the mechanics of printing. 

The exhibition runs until 31 May
