Fairtrade at Hereford Cathedral

Hereford Cathedral is pleased to announce its status as a registered Fairtrade place of worship alongside more than 5300 churches, mosques and synagogues from all over the UK.  Since beginning to promote the Fairtrade mark over four years ago, the cathedral now stocks a wide range of Fairtrade products in its shop and cafe, as well as throughout its hospitality and liturgical departments.

Fairtrade Campaigns Officer Faaiza Bashir told the cathedral community “Congratulations on becoming a Fairtrade Church and thank you for your hard work in supporting positive change for people and the planet”.

Fairtrade communion wine is now exclusively used in the cathedral and its shop and cafe continues to increase its range of Fairtrade products.
