they braved teh cold and rain  to rake up sack loads of twigs and other debris that was littering the Cathedral Close.

The Council deals with the litter aided by many passersby who pick up rubbish as they walk through, but the Close was starting to look untidy with the fallen branches and twigs.

Thanks to the efforts of this small group a substantial amount of debris was collected and disposed of.

The Cathedral Close is once again looking fabulous!
