The Cathedral Shop
Chocolates, Easter cards and even ducks fly into Hereford Cathedral this Easter, along with a number of other special seasonal goods. Easter cards, chocolates, decorated eggs and Easter gifts are always proving popular with visitors to the cathedral along with a special range of fairtrade carved wooden ducks
(called DCUKs). Each of the Indian Runner ducks are hand carved from fairly-traded bamboo root by a family business in Devon. ‘The fairtrade DCUKs have proved unbelievably popular,’ said Josie Owen, Shop Manager at Hereford Cathedral. ‘The range includes large ducks, ducklets, smaller ducklings and even bamboo eggs …
they just keep flying out the door!’
The cathedral shop also offers a wide selection of Easter cards and gifts including handmade chocolates and a range of local produce.
The shop is open throughout Easter:
Monday - Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm (open till 5pm from Monday 24th March), also open 12 noon - 3.45 pm on Sunday 23 March.
